Cyber warfare is a frightening prospect, but, as we all know, Britain has a secret weapon. Nope, we’re not talking about tea here, or James Bond, even: Johnny English is back, seven years after his last outing in 2011’s Johnny English Reborn.
The official trailer for Johnny English Strikes Back was released earlier today (April 5). It’s the third installment in the story of Her Majesty’s most accident-prone secret agent.
Johnny (Rowan Atkinson) is brought back out of retirement to track down the hacking mastermind behind a massive cyber-attack, which has revealed the identity of all active undercover agents in the U.K.
He’s joined by a starry cast that includes Dame Emma Thompson as the Prime Minister (okay, so we added the “dame”) and Ben Miller as sidekick Bough. Olga Kurylenko, who played Bond girl Camille Montes in 2008’s Quantum of Solace, is the rather shapely villain.
Is Johnny still up to the challenge? You decide:
Johnny English Strikes Back is due to open in theaters on September 20 this year.
