It looks like Matt Smith is back in Her Majesty’s service, as he signs up to star alongside Keira Knightley in a new spy film.

Official Secrets is based on the real-life scandal that erupted in the run-up to the Iraq War in 2003, after former government translator Katharine Gun leaked classified documents exposing a U.S. and U.K.-run illegal surveillance operation on members of the United Nations Security Council.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Keira will play Gun, with Matt playing a so far undisclosed role. Filming starts next month in England.

It’s the latest in a slew of roles for the former Doctor, who’s just finished his stint on The Crown. This year alone will see him play American photographer Robert Mapplethorpe in biopic Mapplethorpe, the lead role in oft-delayed horror flick Patient Zero, and just last week he’s just signed on to portray Charles Manson in Charlie Says.

2018 is also shaping up to be the Year of Keira, after a relatively quiet period for the actress following the birth of her first baby in 2015. She stars in Colette, a drama about the French novelist Colette that’s been getting rave reviews on the festival circuit, a post World War II-drama called The Aftermath, and Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, which sees her don a huge pink wig as the Sugar Plum Fairy.

It’s the first time we’ve seen Keira and Matt on screen together, and playing spies at that. Cue those James Bond rumors.

Can you imagine either of them as 007?
